Engineering Management

Engineering Management in Manufacturing Industry

Credits: 10 ECTS

Total Learning Effort: ~250 hours

Course Description

This program examines how engineering, maintenance, and capital project systems drive asset performance and operational reliability. Participants learn to manage the full asset lifecycle—from design and commissioning to maintenance and renewal—using structured decision frameworks. Topics include project governance, reliability engineering, maintenance strategy, shutdown management, and CAPEX prioritization. Through applied cases, learners analyze failures in engineering execution and asset management. The certificate equips leaders to align engineering systems with operational and business objectives, maximizing uptime, safety, and lifecycle value of manufacturing assets.
